23 weeks 6 days

23 weeks, 6 days amd turn 24 weeks tomorrow!
Well I officially posted a bare belly picture. I wasn't going to but Austin says you can't tell, so here ya go!! I am growing and growing. It is getting harder and harder to bend over to put shoes on, pick up things, and just flat get to my feet lol. So for the update.. 2 weekends ago, Kami (sis n law) and my good friend Johanna Moos all went to Babies R US to register and it was so much fun. Hanna just had a new baby in October named Austin and he is just absolutely adorable. So she was there to help us through this process and she was VERY helpful. Let me tell you, Kami and I were exhausted. But so glad we got that done. If you ever want to check out our registries to see what we picked, they are out there now to view! You will find that we got a lot of stuff a like. But we both just have great taste right Kami :o) I only have one more place to register at, and then that is all done. I have also already gotten some of the planning done for my baby showers, which is rather exciting too. So I really feel like I have gotten quite a bit accomplished!
The nursery is coming quite a long. I know I said I was going to post a few pics as a peak..But I think I will hold off to keep it a lil surprise. First off, if you read my last post..you probably laughing your head off at me when I said our room was in COSMOPOLITAN colors.. Thanks to my good friend Jess.. I made a huuge error. What can I say, pregnancy spaciness..I was trying to say NEOPOLITAN colors ha! Please try not to laugh too hard lol. Honestly, I died over here once I realized I was telling everyone the wrong thing. What can I say? A true Meghan moment. Oh I know you will get a kick out of this too..The other night I spilt 1/2 of my bowl of cereal on me for no apparent reason. The clumsiness has begun. Oh goodness..I am officially losing it. According to my book of what to expect, this is very normal. Try to control your laughter :o) I have penty of other stores I could tell, but someday you will just have to laugh. I laugh at myself EVERYDAY bc I think I am such a goof..
I did go to the dr on the 12th and she said everything looks great. I go back in 4 weeks and then my appointments after that will be every 2 weeks. When she told me that, I sort of flipped as I realized.........it will be here before I know it. ayi ayi ayi!!.
Lastly, my most update according to my book says that our baby girls skin is hanging quite losely on her and that is because skin grows faster than fat. But not worry, the fat is to start catching up. According to this, she will double in weight by the end of the month! Once these fat deposits are made, the body will be less transparent. So exciting!!! Well thanks for reading!! I will keep you posted as more things are changing and happening!!

22 Week update..

Well today according to my book of "What to Expect When You're Expecting"..states... That my baby is a 1lb already and nearly 8 inches long, about the size of a doll with developing senses of hearing, touching, smelling, and taste. She can officially hear everyone around her now. IT is even possible that she could be grabbing onto the umbilical cord in there and I told Aus..she could be swinging around that thing and doing turns for all I know. He got a good laugh out of that. It even mentioned that the baby can now see light and that if I were to shine a light to the tummy, she may move or react to the light. Pretty neat huh?
She is definitely moving. She doesn't move too much during the day, but she does when I lay on my side. I think she likes to wait until Iam relaxed to start telling me she is there. But I don't mind. I enjoy feeling her everyday and I can actually see the movement on the outside of the tummy usually. :o)
Well we officially decided on her name, but we still are not telling :o) So it is going to be a long 18 weeks until you all find out I suppose. I go back to the dr this Tuesday for my check up and will need my next shot about 6 weeks from now. As you all remember, I miscarried my first baby because I have what is called Rogam Negative. Austin is Rogam positive and this has to do with the Rogam being in your blood. If the Rogams do not match, it is typical for the blood to fight off the fetus. So shortly after I miscarried, I had the shot and will need the shot again once I get pregnant around 28 weeks. Then they test the baby once she is born to see if she matches me, and if she does not..then I get the shot again. I don't mind. I use to HAAATE needles and actually usually get a little nervous/anxious/worked up right before a shot. But since I have had my blood drawn so many times, it has gotten easier. ha!
Well that is the most up to date news here. We did get the majority of the nursery finished yesterday. Waiting on a few things to come in that store was out of and then it will be complete. I will post a sneak pic a little later this week for you all to see. Just think cosmopolitan ice cream (pink, brown, and white)....at least that is what it reminded Austin and I of...we loove it!!

Thanks for reading..and stay tuned....after these messages ha!~ thats for you Mary. :o)

Dailey Christmas Party~18 weeks!!
I found out 2 days later that we were having a girl.
So the day was Dec 14th that we found out. Austin took the day off and we went to the dr together. I am going to Dr. AndreaHoover at St. Joseph Hospital and she is wonderful. Also a very good friend and been almost like a family sister to me for years is pregnant~ Miss Kyle (Mock) Young~ and we are only a matter of days apart and she is going to Hoover too. In fact, she found out she is having a boy a week before me but she was due 2 days after me; however, they recently just told her that she is measuring around May 10th (and I am due May 12th)..Sooo we may be spending time together in the hospital. WE ARE THRILLED to be going through this together. Anywho..back to the day we found out..the ultrasound was a lot of fun. Got a lot of great pictures of her and we went out to eat that day. The phone was ringing like crazy to congratulate us and we are so lucky to have such great family and friends surrounding us!! We are also very thrilled because Austin's brother Evan and his wife Kami are expecting as well. As you saw, Kami is 7 weeks ahead of me and also having a GIRL!!! Tea Parties..barbies..babies..dress up...the list goes on and on. We can not wait!!
Kami and I both started shopping for baby furniture at the same time and both purchased our furniture from JCPenny. We have almost got our nursery done here and Kami & Ev have been working on theirs too. I will post a soon as ours is finished. These two girls are going to be such great friends and so close. We are just so excited for them!
As you know we plan to keep her name a secret and plan to tell the day she is born. So I guess we can call her baby mcclain or baby joey. But don't try to trick us to find out the name :o) IT doesn't work he he!
Little miss Daisy has been good but she definitely knows something is up. Sometimes she will hug up against her daddy which is abnormal around here. She did recently try to get on our couch and laying down..and she didn't just try it once. I actually caught her twice laying on the couch and once trying..so she is definitely acting out :o) She has never been allowed on the couch..so I guess she suspects something is going on. But she by all means is not missing any lovings and gets a fed with a "golden spoon" as my dad would say.
Christmas came and went..We got lots of wonderful things for the baby. She has lots of clothes and shoes already. Then New Years came and I got to enjoy lots of water for the holiday :o) As Molly would say, I was the most hydrated person there with beautiful skin :o) Austin got to enjoy a few drinks for me :o)
Overall, the holidays were great because we got to spend time with lots of family and friends!! We love you all!

Growing..Growing..
