Dedication to my first Daughter Daisy

I thought I would do a little post on my forgoten first daughter, Daisy :o) She tends to get forgotten around here and Raygan isn't here yet. We got Daisy in August of 2005, and she will be turning 5 this summer. She was our little rascal/bundle of the joy at the same time. Even though she is the most defiant little thing, has to sleep under the covers, won't lay on the floor without a bed, ALWAYS has to be touching you, goes nutz in the house over animals outside, crazy 24/7, and wants your undivided attention all the time (picture Marley from the movie Marley and Me..bc that is a spittin image of Daisy)..we still love her to pieces anyways and wouldn't know what to do without her. Austin and her have been bonding QUITE bit here lately. It use to always be that I wanted to cuddle with Daisy and she knew she could always get in bed with me. Austin use to NEVER let Daisy in the bed..and well a LOT has changed lately. Roles rerversed..Now if momma says no, she doesn't lay in her bed..instead..she goes to her daddy's side and he lets her sleep in the bed all night. Momma is a little too hot and doesn't do well with the bed hog :o) Enjoy the pictures..Oh and before I forget..she has already started destroying baby items..She definitely will be jealous when Raygan comes home..Enjoy the pictures :o)

This is the remaining instructions to our Pack n Play. Oh and the fun begins..

What are you two doing?!?!

Sleeping with my best friend Harley..She is a pup here.

First and last Halloween..It took forever just to get this picture and this hat barely made through the night. haha! Now we stick to simpler costumes...

Sunday, April 11th-35 wks

HELLO GORGEOUS DAY!! Well today, Austin and I took in this beautiful day. He went golfing and I did a lil shopping. But then I came home..get ready for it..TO LAY OUT LOL!!! Let me tell you, it was a sight to see. Now I didn't go completely for the whole swim suit. Just the top and some shorts..I couldn't take it anymore..It was so nice and I am in desperate need of some sun. No one saw me as I was in the backyard and our porch is pretty hidden, but it was soo nice!! Made me want go on vacation, thats for sure...Sorry to bum you out, but I don't have any pictures for you all lol!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the weather!!

35 Weeks~Doctor Check up

Thursday, April 8~ Had my last 2 week follow up with the doctor and this was a BIIG dr's appt. Doctor was going to start checking my cervix this week and also I will start seeing her EVERY week. At this appointment, I got all my vital information in case I start having contractions, water break, etc. Let me tell you..it was a little bit of reality check in a good way :o) So you wanna hear the results of this appointment?? Well I am dialated to 1 already, baby is head down, and the baby is still sitting very high. Now this does not mean I will go into labor anytime soon..it just means that my body has started making the changes to prepare for labor. I still have a lot that needs to happen before I go into labor. For instance, the baby has to drop, but how exciting that the body changing has already begun. You know, it is truly amaazing that the body does this all on its own.
Sooo this all confirmed for me that I need to get my hospital bag ready and put it in the closet. Aus and I put the pack n play together and I have asked him to put the car base in for the car seat. He still hasn't done it.I think that it hasn't sunk in for him that Raygan is going to come sooo fast and it possibly might be before May 12th. I think he is holding onto that date..Sometimes I say, hey..she could come home in a week or 2..and then he gets a lil nervous lol. But lets be honest with ourselves..WHAT PARENT IS EVER READY FOR THEIR NEWBORN? lol!
Stay tuned..Next dr appt..Thurs, April 15th!

April 2nd~Good Friday~34 Wks

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted!! I tell ya, I have been super nesting over here.So let me update you!!
On Wednesday, Mar 31st (34 wks), my Mary Kay group hosted a baby shower for us. It was soooo nice and they spoiled us!! We got to play 3 fuun games that I hadn't played at my other showers. 1. Pin the pacifier on the baby
2. Unscramble the letters
3. Game of filling in the blank based on the clues given.
Ate some yuuummy cake and cupcakes, and opened presents. Thanks to Rhonda Rowlett, Nancy Beaver, and Lisbeth Patrick for hosting my shower.
Then for Good Friday, Austin and I had our maternity pictures done by Toni Price done outside on such a beaautiful day. Toni is a good friend of my cousin, Lora Adams and I actually remember Toni from when we were kids. I use to go outside and play with them when I stayed in Flora..Remember the trampoline days and riding bikes :o) Anywho..Toni did a fabulous job!! I highly recommend her photography if you ever need any. Her website is ToniPricephoto.com. I tried to post some of the pictures from facebook but the pictures showed up really small. So I am sure most of you saw my pictures on facebook anyways. We should be getting the rest of our pictures real soon. I have a ton, so you all will get to see some more shots once I get them. However, we love our pictures and couldn't have been happier. Toni was a delight to work with!!
Then Saturday, I washed ALL of Raygan's clothes. That's right..ALL!!! Sooo you can say I was suppper nesting!! I just feel like I need to be doing something, so I got that finished. We even put together a few more items for her room. We are definitely getting ready for Raygan's arrival.
And of course for Easter Sunday, we enjoyed a wonderful church service with Austin's dad and then headed to Noblesville for Easter dinner. We had Easter at Laurie's (Austin's moms) and got spend lots of quality time with the family. Got to see adoooorable Kalina and hold her for like an hour. She is sooo sweet and adorable. I can not wait to babysit her someday. Also for her and Raygan to play together...Oh it is just going to be soo much fun. But even more, it made me more excited and anxious for our little one.
Well that is all for the updates for that week. Stay tuned!!

32 Wks~ Most Recent Belly picture

32 Weeks as of March 22nd. Turn 33 on March 24th. Enjoy~
GROWING, GROWING, GROWING!!

~RAYGAN LYNN~

~RAYGAN LYNN~
You guessed it, we have revealed her name!! Your probably wondering why and how? After much thought, Austin and I wanted the grandmothers to be able to come over and see the room because we of course had her name already hung up. So I thought of a clever game to play at the showers to reveal her name. And it was played at both showers, so for those of you that attended the first shower~Great job on keeping the secret :o) Right before we opened the presents, each Grandma To Be got a little heart box with some painted wooden letters in there that spelled out her first and middle name. Both grandmas dumped the letters on the floor and tried to figure out the name. These two had a blast with this game! My mother, Joni, treated it more like a survivor game because she LOOOVES that show. Joni figured out the name first and of course she turned to my mother in law Laurie, and said that she had to go to tribal council. LOL! It was hilarious!. Bless her heart, Laurie was wrapped in the emotional moment of releasing the name, that I am not sure she heard my mother at the time. Them two together had soo much fun and I think everyone else had just as much fun watching. Then at the end, both grandmas got to keep the letters. Priceless moments :o) Here are a few pictures of the game. Enjoy!

Baby Shower # 2-Mar 13- 31 Wks

Baby Shower # 2 on Mar. 13th~ Currently 31 Wks here.
This was such a lovely shower as well and the decorations were sooooooo pretty. My cousins (Erika, Lora, and Jamie) and my Aunt Sarah hosted this shower and did an awesome job! We got lots of goodies such s the stroller, high chair, daipers which are soo needed, and lots more! We even got lots of books too and believe it or not...we didn't get any duplicates either!
We are so blessed!!
Then later that night, Austin and I went to Babies R Us to pick up some things we didn't get. Let me tell you, it was an expensive trip, but we had soo much fun. Austin's favorite thing to shop for is bath time and toys. I think he will have a lot of fun with bath time as much as she will ha! Enjoy the pictures!!
Got my stroller!! Yah!

Kami went in on Friday morning around 7:30a which is 12 days early from when she was due, had her epidural and little Kalina came around 2pm. We got the privilege to go down and hold her on Friday. She is so sweet and just so gorgeous!! I wanted to sneak her home with me :o) We are very proud to be her aunt and uncle! We can't wait for our bundle of joy to be here and get to be great friends with Kalina. Enjoy the pics!!

30 Weeks & Dr Visit

Tuesday, March 9th I had another dr visit..my regular 2 week check up. Good news is, my blood sugar test turned out great and everything is looking good. She did the sonogram again and baby girl kicked the wand twice. She has become quite the strong strong strong kicker!! Sometimes I think she kicks my chest and my tatas move. AWKWARD...and I feel like people can see it lol!
It is official..I am gaining weight. I gained 5lbs in 2 weeks and I am up to a total of 27lbs. So not too bad so far. On Wednesday, March 10th, I turn 31 weeks. I didn't get any pictures at 30 weeks, but I will have pics at 31 weeks to post really soon for you to see
Also,,lastly, I do feel like for once that I am eating for two. I haven't had any odd cravings but my meal size has increased. It is almost embarassing. BUUT what can I say? I have also been experiencing quite a bit of ciatic nerve pain on the right side mostly. And this is just about everyday. Oh the joys of maternity haha!!
Lastly for everyone..Kami, my sister in law that is 7 weeks ahead of me is officially dilated to 2. This was as of Wednesday 3/10. She could go any day now even though her due date was Mar 24th. So we shall have a niece aaaanny day soon. I can not wait to see her. I will keep you posted on her.
Well enjoy.. not much news this week but thanks for reading!!

Shower Time #1- 29 weeks

Here are a just a few pics :O)
Mom, myself, Laurie, and Kami
Just one of the many many many adorable outfits :o)

IT'S BABY SHOWER TIME!!! I had my first baby shower on Feb. 27th at the Berkley Square Clubhouse hosted by Christy Dechert, Amanda Skinner, and Jenny Gzergorski. All three women are good friends and in my small group. They hosted a really nice and pretty baby shower. Thank you ladies!! I got lots of nice goodies at the shower like my bumbo seat with tray, pack n play, swing, gift cards that allowed us to buy her first toy chest, lots of adorable clothes, hats, socks to my diaper bag, boppie, musical jumper, and many many more. We really are so spoiled and soooo lucky to have so many people that love us and want to provide us with what we need. This baby girl is going to be so spoiled and as my dad would say "fed with a golden spoon". But we wouldn't have it any other way..She is loved so much already.

We ate some yummy food and a delicious cake that tasted like a donut. And let me tell you all left overs of cake went to Austin :o) We played a really fun game too that I have never played before. We listened to 19 songs that all had the word baby in them. The people were to guess the name of the song and the artist. However, when the song said the word baby, the song stopped. So some songs you heard longer than others. It was a lot of fun and so creative!! The shower was a grrreat time!! Then we brought it all home and Kami, Laurie, and my momma helped me organize like crazy. Washed blankets, bedding, and towels...Everything is starting to have a home. Then of course little Daisy just went crazy sniffing everything and wondering what all this new stuff was til about an hour later,,she could barely keep her little eyes open. She is in for a big awakening when little baby girl gets here :) I will post more pics of the room after my last shower...Looking forward to that which is on Sat. March 13th hosted by my Aunt Sarah Hanaway and my cousins, Jaime Siebert, Erika Fritz and Lora Adams! Good times~Enjoy!

Kamiris McClain's Shower-Feb 21st

Laurie aka Grandma Cookie, myself, Kami, and Kami's mother Evelyn.
2 PROUD grandma's to be :o)
We all really enjoyed this time together!!
Sharon Shane (Aunt in Law), Marilyn Auth (grandma in law aka Grandma Bobby), Kami, Carolyn McClain (grandma in law aka Grandma Tractor), and myself. Your probably wandering how the grandmas names came about..well let me tell you. Austin and Evan made these names up so that they could always distinguish between each grandma. Grandma Tractor got her name because they farmed and Grandma Bobby got her name because she had a son named Bobby (Austin's cousin). So the names stuck and even Kami and I refer to them by those names. It is almost not normal to just call them grandma and grandpa :o) So to continue the tradition..even Austin and I have even made up names for our parents. Enjoy them!!

Lee & Joni Ennis- Grandpa & Grandma Boat

Terry McClain- Grandpa Motorcycle (he has a motorcycle)

Laurie & Clark Anderson- Grandma & Grandpa Cookie (they are always bringing us baked goods)

Kami-35 weeks
Meghan-28 weeks
Muy bonitas chica's!! Me amo tu Kami!!

What a beautiful Baby Shower Kami had hosted by her family! She got soooo many nice things!! It was a lot of fun and glad that we can share these fun times together. Enjoy the pics!

27 Weeks~Feb. 15th

27 Weeks here! ...Still growing!!

I am trying to take pics about every other week. 28 weeks has come & gone already. So I will be posting 29 weeks this next weekend. I went to the doctor on Tuesday, Feb 23 and everything went well. I got my results back from my glucose test and everything looks great. I do not have any anemia or diabetes, or any sugar issues. So I was very pleased. I did get my next RG (Rogam Negative) shot and let me tell you..it was quite the experience. The last time I had this shot, it was in the arm. Well not this time. She told me that typically it is given in butt!!! SOOO needless to say I felt like Forrest Gump minus the ice cream. But I survived :o) The dr asked if the baby was active and I said oh yea. She proceeded to listen to the heartbeat and she was moving so much we couldn't even get a steady heart beat. AND..she kicked the little wand that the dr is holding on your stomach twice! Such an active little one she is. Other than that, another successful dr visit. Now I start going every 2 weeks, so I will keep you posted. Stay tuned.....

Oops forgot this one!!-

Kami-31 weeks
I- 24 weeks

Paradise Bakery

And it was even decorated in all pink!! It is a must see :o)

Oopsie!!! I forgot to post this one first. This was when I was 24 weeks on Jan. 23rd. Austin and I met Laurie, Clark, Evan, and Kami down in the Hamilton Town Center shopping area for dinner and a yummy treat from the Cupcake Camper. We ate at the Paradise Bakery (which there is another location in Clay Terrace). It was wonderful!! (Can you tell I love to eat right now ha ). Then we came across this little old fashion silver camper called the Cupcake Camper. So I of course HAD to have one. This must be such a hopping place because they only had one kind of cupcake left~cinnamon toast. It was the BEST cupcake I have ever had and it tasted just like breakfast. I would have to say this is by far one of my top 10 favorite places :o) Big Thanks to Clark because he bought Kami and I each a cupcake. We definitely will be back! Enjoy the pictures...

Baby Room in Progress!!

Still need our curtains here. They should arrive any day now!

Hey whatcha doin guys? I wanna check out the room!

Aus working hard on the room!

The baby room is in progress. I am posting a sneak peak here but it by all means is not done. We still need to finish the curtains, put the bedding on, and of course, put her name up. But I am still not telling :o) The letters are done and painted though! Enjoy the pictures of the room. Austin has worked so hard on it and we really like the way it is turning out. As soon as I get the room completely finished, I will of course post pictures again. Enjoy!!

25 Weeks~Taken Jan 30th

Kylie Young & I ~we are only days apart when our babies are due and we both go to Dr. Hoover. We are hoping we deliver at the same time. Fun times!!
Austin & I at the Y's Men Dance Jessica McFatridge & I at the Y's Men Dance
These pictures were taken at the 2010 Y's Men Dance on January 30th and I was 25 weeks here. Austin and I really had a good time despite I really didn't do much dancing or enjoying cocktails. But I sure did enjoy the dinner yum yum :o) The Y's Men is a organization that Austin just recently joined thanks to Justin Moos and he really has enjoyed being a member. They raise money for the local YMCA by selling wreaths and garlands to local companies. Then they also help the Kokomo Parks Department by helping decorate the park and volunteer dressing as Santa too for Christmas! So the Y's Men Dance is the end of the year event for the organization where they have a nice catered meal, dj, drinks, and lots of fun hanging out with the members. Enjoy!!
